The 2019 Global Center Annual Symposium will focus on "Changing Regulation of Pharmaceuticals: Issues in Pricing, Intellectual Property, Trade and Ethics," and was held April 5-6, 2019 at McGeorge. The 2018 Global Center Annual Symposium focused on the topic "Foreign Interference with Elections," and was co-hosted by the Capital Center for Law & Policy.

In a new report, Omar Dajani and Ramallah-based attorney Hiba Husseini urge a decisive shift in the international
community's longstanding and ineffectual approach to promoting peace between Israelis
and Palestinians. The report, Past the Point of No Return? A Rights-Based Framework
for International Engagement in Israel/Palestine, was published Nov. 4, 2014 by NOREF,
the Norwegian Peacebuilding Resource Centre, and will be launched this winter in policy
forums in Jerusalem, Oslo, Brussels, London, and Washington.
